Hire Our Spaces

As Leeds’ landmark location, Leeds Town Hall is one of the city’s largest and most inspiring venues offering modern conferencing facilities within the magnificence of Classical-Baroque style Victorian architecture.

Built by Cuthbert Brodrick between 1853 and 1858 as a municipal palace, it housed a hall for 8,000 people, a council chamber, mayoral suite, council offices, courtrooms, judge’s chamber, cells and accommodation for the police and a gaoler. In September 1858 it was officially opened by Queen Victoria and the great hall was dedicated to her and renamed Victoria Hall. Inside stands the impressive 3-manual organ built by Gray and Davidson, the largest of its kind in Europe.
