
YAMSEN:SpeciallyMusic is holding its annual Lord Mayor’s Christmas Concert and Art Competition Prize-giving.
YAMSEN:SpeciallyMusic is a charity dedicated to providing high-quality musical activities (including tuition and concerts) to children and adults with additional needs, and also to providing musical training, information and support to parents, carers, teachers, support staff, and anyone else with an interest in music for adults and children with additional needs.
At this concert the Lord Mayor Councillor Eileen Taylor will present the Art Competition winners with their prizes, and the award winning entries will be framed and on display in the Town Hall.
Performing on stage will be Off By Heart (choir for adults with moderate learning difficulties), One Accord, Young Accord and the Wakefield Accords. On stage with them will be Yorkshire Evening Post Brass, East Steel and St Peter’s Clerks, and on the Town Hall steps, welcoming the audience, Natalie and Sons.
Compere on the evening will Simon Lindley, and organist, David Houlder.
