Spring has sprung at Home Farm and it’s hopping with adorable new-born lambs, piglets, calves and kids. Spot them play and snuggle up to Mum as you wander the cobbled courtyard in what’s been crowned one of the largest rare breed centres in Europe!
Get up close to the spring time babies and all other rare breed farmyard favourites. Discover the farms rich history and learn what life was like in days gone by.
Family fun is what we do, and we know your day wouldn’t be complete without a roam about our adventure playground. We have two, take your pick! Don’t forget to take a seat on Farmer David’s old tractor for a taste of farming life – parents, don’t forget your cameras!
We’re open 10am to 5pm with last admission at 4.15pm.
To make your visit extra safe we have the following measures in place:
- Please stay at home if you are showing any COVID-19 symptoms.
- We have a limited capacity to ensure that social distancing can be maintained. Stick to the “rule of 6” and only visit with a maximum of 2 households.
- You are required wear a face covering in any indoor spaces including our Gift Shop, Tea Room and toilets, unless you are exempt from doing so.
- Please adhere to our one-way route and use the hand sanitiser provided.
- Do not consume food or drink whilst visiting the farm.
- Following government restrictions some indoor elements at Home Farm remain closed. We are working on opening these areas once it is safe to do so.
- Please monitor your children on our playgrounds and ensure they are following the guidance displayed onsite.
