This exhibition takes place in the Brodrick Room.
Part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the civic partnership between the cities of Leeds and Dortmund, Germany, the exhibition of 50 images shows images produced by students from Leeds City College and the UZWEI in Dortmund, reflecting the true identity of both cities.
Also on display alongside this exhibition in the Brodrick Room is a tapestry style artwork which has been produced by visual artist Louise Atkinson in collaboration with Dr Claudia Sternberg as part of a project by the University of Leeds focusing on German nationals living in Leeds. The content of this digital fabric print has been supplied by and developed in conversation with German nationals and their descendants living in Yorkshire about their experiences and memories.
