Ticketing
Leeds Town Hall is part of Leeds City Council’s Arts Events and Venues service, with ticketing provided in-house by Leeds Ticket Hub on behalf of producers, promoters and event organisers, including Leeds City Council events and seasons. When booking you are acknowledging that you agree to the Leeds Ticket Hub terms and conditions.
Your visit
Customers are advised to check that the event they have booked for is going ahead prior to setting off. Please visit our website, social media channels or call Leeds Ticket Hub for the most up to date information.
If you are late or need to enter the venue after an event has started you will be able to take your seat (or an available seat near the back), when there is applause or during another suitable break in the performance.

You are welcome to take photos without flash during applause. Please note that filming of artists is not permitted at any time. Please be mindful of others around you by dimming your screen and silencing your phone.
Security checks
For the safety and comfort of all customers, bags larger than A4 will not be permitted into the event. We ask that you leave large bags at home.
The management reserves the right to carry out bag/property checks when necessary. Anyone who declines a search will not be admitted.
Children
Children under 3 may not be admitted unless the performance is specifically for young children. Tickets are required for any child aged 12 months+ that attends a performance. Babes in arms (under 12 months) do not require a ticket.
Parents are reminded that some performances are not suitable for young children.
We do not advise that children under 14 attend our events without a responsible adult. Venue staff accept no responsibility for any unaccompanied children under 16.
Age guidance is to assist individuals in judging the suitability of a production at the time of booking, however, Leeds Ticket Hub accepts no responsibility for any offence which may be caused.
Age guidance may relate to themes of an adult nature, language, nudity or themes/content considered unsuitable for younger audiences.
General terms
Leeds Town Hall reserves the right to change the advertised arrangements of any performance in the event of illness or any cause beyond our reasonable control. This includes the change of named artist(s).
Leeds Town Hall reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder (and take appropriate action to enforce this right) for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or failure to comply with the reasonable requests of the venue team. If admission is refused no money will be refunded.
Leeds Town Hall reserves the right to reallocate the booked seat without refund.
Booking fees will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation or rescheduled performance. Please visit Leeds Ticket Hub for further information on ticketing terms and conditions.
Special offers: when advertised these may be subject to availability and restrictions. No two offers can be used in conjunction with one another. For clarity, a special offer is any offer that isn’t a standard price or concession ticket. Special offers include (but are not limited to) multibuy offers, family tickets, group rates and early bird discounts.
Schools’ rates: Schools concessions (when applicable) are intended to enable educational establishments to bring groups of pupils or students to performances at a reduced rate. They are not transferable to adults. Any accompanying adult tickets given are for an adult who is responsible for the behaviour of the children in the party.
Standing and dancing policy
The Victoria Hall stalls area has seating installed on a flat floor. If members of the audience stand up during events they immediately block the view of the person seated behind, which is unfair especially if that person is unable to stand. Consideration for the rest of the audience must always be shown. Therefore for all events where the stalls seating is in place, audience members must stay seated.
For certain types of performances such as pop concerts, standing and dancing in the stalls towards the end of the event will be allowed, but this will be at the discretion of the management in discussion with the promoter/artist and all staff will be briefed on this before the performance begins. On these occasions, announcements will be made when standing is allowed. Audience members must stay in front of their designated seat and not move into the aisles or towards the stage.
For health and safety reasons, standing and dancing in the Gallery, Risers and Boxes is strictly prohibited at all times.
The following actions will be taken if members of the audience ignore this policy:
Security staff will deal with all cases of audience members standing or dancing. Patrons will be asked to sit down so others can see and there will be a strict policy for removal. If anyone refuses to sit down after the third time of asking that person will have to leave the auditorium.
The Duty Manager for the event will have overall responsibility to implement this policy and also to put into operation specific times for it to be relaxed in line with the above.
